Preston DJ’d our wedding at the La Jolla Woman’s Club earlier this month, and we couldn’t have been more pleased with the job he did.

Throughout the wedding planning process, Preston was responsive and pleasant. He gave us a very clear sense of his DJ style in our initial conversation that turned out to be very accurate (and exactly what we were looking for). He was clear that if we wanted an over-the-top corny DJ to hog the microphone, he probably wasn’t our guy, but that he would keep the party going and would be as involved as we wanted him to be. True to his word, Preston did an awesome job of playing the style of music we wanted without being hokey.

Preston reduced the stress of wedding planning. He didn’t push for any specific songs, but did make some helpful suggestions that ended up being better than our initial ideas. Example: our initial choice for grand entrance song was bad, and Preston suggested a few others that would likely be better from the list of songs we had given him. I appreciate that he was willing to weigh in without being pushy.

If you are looking for a DJ who can manage the flow of your reception and play a great mix of music without trying to be the star of the show, then Preston is an excellent choice.
